Just like the 5RU that came before it, the 3RU offers flexibility and growth in a smaller formfactor. With about half the depth of the 5RU, this 3RU is designed to fit into tight spaces like Flight Packs and Mobiles. The crosspoint and modules are all accessible on the rear of the frame. Truly 3RU with the power supplies and fans built into the frame. Other equipment can be stacked directly on top or below the NEXX.
All modules on the 5RU are available on the 3RU. Containing three modular slots with interchange-able cards. On the NEXX-IO-C1 ingest 32x32 12G-SDI with optional frame sync, MADI, and TDM. Monitor those inputs using the built in Standard Multiviewer on the NEXX-IO-C1 or our NEXX-670 module for a full featured Multiviewer. Alternatively, take the NEXX-670 for 2110, 32x32 at 3G or 16x16 at 12G, or as a UDX for up, down, cross conversion, VPROC, audio DSP, HDR conversion, and more. Go further with our NEXX-SCORPION module where you can directly ingest Dante, HDMI, and more utilizing our large catalog of dual slot Scorpion MIO modules.
The NEXX frames feature interchangeable hot swappable crosspoints. Allowing you to take the NEXX crosspoint in the 5RU and put it into the 3RU, supporting all slots.
NEXX proudly uses our MAGNUM control system providing traditional control panel coupled with MAGNUM-TALLY and VUE for advanced local or remote context oriented user interfaces.
